Bioshock confirms HOME release

Rumour has it that Bioshock will be showing off some HOME integration at E3 next week, now speaking away from rumours at GAME.co.uk the picture of the official Bioshock boxart has a logo of HOME at the bottom (see above) which all but confirms that we will see HOME before or on the release of Bioshock for the PS3. This is great news considering Bioshock is set for release 24th October 2008 according to GAME.

Guitar Hero not to be left in the cold

Activision has announced via a press release that it has teamed up with Line 6 to integrate POD into the music studio of Guitar Hero World Tour. The music studio will allow you to record, edit and share your latest anthems while the POD lets you change guitar tones using amps, cabs and effects.

For more information about POD check out the official site and there is a great video on there explaining how it works.

US budget games

The ´Platinum´range of games have been going since the original Playstation era, i for one hated seeing a platinum title of a game i payed full price for, but they were bargains of the most popular games if you didn’t already have it.

Japan has had the platinum range for a while now and the platinum range will be available in Europe soon (distinguished by a yellow colour), now the US looks in its way to receiving the budget range with the games sporting a red colour. This snap shown in a Kmart catalogue shows 3 titles for the PS3 (rest PSP) Motorstorm, Warhawk and Resistance Fall Of Man in the budget range. Great stuff. I for one might consider buying Motorstorm at budget price.
