Engadget has reported that Sonys new video download service will be available this summer.

Word has it that cheif of Sony Computer Entertainment Kazuo Hirai that Sony will release the download service this summer for US Playstation3 owners, Europe and Japan will come at a later date with release dates being announced next month, expect to hear something at E3 because thats where the biggest announcements are made.
